Subcontractor Terms & Conditions (All Trades)

1. Who We Are

Holston Services Ltd operates as a service coordination company. We arrange work for approved, independent subcontractors across multiple trades.

Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, or agency.

2. Independent Subcontractor Status

• You operate as a self-employed subcontractor.

• You are free to accept or decline any work offered.

• You may work for other clients and companies.

• You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, VAT (if applicable), and business costs.

3. Scope of Work

Work may include (but is not limited to):

• Waste removal and clearances

• Cleaning (domestic and commercial)

• Handyman and property maintenance

• Landscaping and external works

• Specialist or trade services

All work is offered on a job-by-job basis. No minimum or guaranteed work is provided.

4. Job Offers & Acceptance

• Job details will be provided by phone, WhatsApp, email, or system message.

• By accepting a job, you confirm you have the skills, availability, and resources to complete it.

5. Equipment & Insurance

• You provide your own tools, equipment, PPE, and vehicle unless agreed otherwise.

• You must hold valid Public Liability Insurance appropriate to your trade.

6. Health & Safety

• You are responsible for carrying out work safely and professionally.

• You must comply with all relevant health and safety laws.

• Any accidents, incidents, or hazards must be reported immediately.

7. Quality & Conduct

• Work must be completed to a professional standard.

• You must act professionally and respectfully when representing Holston Services Ltd.

• Poor workmanship, misconduct, or repeated complaints may result in removal from future work.

8. Liability

• You are responsible for the quality and workmanship of the services you deliver.

• Holston Services Ltd is not liable for your acts, omissions, or negligence.

9. Confidentiality & Clients

• Client details, pricing, and operational information must not be shared with third parties.

• You must not directly solicit or accept work from clients introduced by Holston Services Ltd outside this arrangement.

10. Payments

• Rates are agreed per job.

• Payment is made after job completion, subject to satisfactory service delivery.

11. Termination

• Either party may stop working together at any time.

• Serious breaches may result in immediate removal from work opportunities.

12. Acceptance of These Terms

By ticking the checkbox and proceeding to accept work, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Subcontractor Terms & Conditions

• You agree to operate as an independent subcontractor

• You accept these terms as legally binding

Electronic acceptance via checkbox is legally valid in the UK.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
